Hilversum and surrounding places are also a short distance away. The house is easily accessible by public transport (bus and train). The picturesque village center of Maarssen with several top restaurants, nice shops, market and supermarkets is within cycling / walking distance. The river Vecht runs in frond of the house. From here you walk directly into the green countryside of the Vecht region.
The house is located on the water (a through branch of the river Vecht). A boat rental is a 10-minute walk away where you can rent a boat in the summer with which you can explore the Vecht, the Utrecht lakes and the canals of Utrechts city center!
